Steps
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350F
Step 2:
Grease a 9x13 baking sheet .
Step 3:
Place bread cubes into a large mixing bowl
Step 4:
Place a skillet on the stove on medium high heat and cook the Italian sausage until browned. Drain and set aside.
Step 5:
Place another skillet on the stove on medium-high heat and melt the butter.
Step 6:
Add onions and celery, season with salt and pepper, and cook until translucent, 5-7 minutes
Step 7:
Add garlic, rosemary, sage, and parley and cook for one minute more
Step 8:
Stir in 1 cup of turkey or chicken stock
Step 9:
Stir in the Italian sausage
Step 10:
Pour mixture into the mixing bowl with the bread cubes and stir to combine
Step 11:
In another mixing bowl, whisk together the remaining turkey or chicken stock with the eggs
Step 12:
Fold that mixture into the bread cubes until thoroughly combined
Step 13:
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes then cover with foil and bake 15-30 minutes more, until internal temp reaches 160F
